I've worn it on a few winter hikes in NH and my only complaint is that the zipper tends to jam. I talked to Columbia about this problem and they advised me to buy some zipper lubricant and try that. The zipper lube improved things enough that I'll keep the jacket but my confidence in it is a little shaken. It's not good when you have to take your gloves off and use both hands to finish zipping your hard shell. If it weren't for the zipper problem this would be a 5 star shell.Sizing: I usually wear a medium jacket but I ordered this in large because I tend to wear it over multiple fleece layers. When I'm layered up it fits pretty good.
