Review: Absolutely beautiful - Absolutely beautiful cake tin I hesitated about buying it because of the price but I really wanted to make a different kind of cake for Christmas along with the traditional Christmas cake so I got it It’s very well made and has some weight to it and the detail is perfect It took me 3 attempts to get a cake that would just come straight out of the tin first time I brushed it well with butter and floured it I had put apple into the sponge cake that wouldn’t come out it ended up in a heap so I decided to ditch the apple and make a cake using brown sugar to give it a caramel taste I brushed the tin with oil butter and flour I got it out after a lot of messing around I used a wooden skewer to ease it off the side so I lost the definition on it and so I ordered some pme cake release spray I sprayed it evenly and once cooked I left the cake in the tin for 10 minutes and then flipped it over and it dropped out so if you want to get this tin I highly recommend you get a spray or make a cake gloop which you will need to get into every tiny bit detail or you will end up making more than one cake Review: very well made pan that looks great - it was delivered on time and well packaged. used it straight away and the cake was a success. Can’t I use a normal baking spray and then dust with flour or cocoa?** A: I didn't know that baking spray should not be used and sprayed the tin with Fry Light which was the only one I had - it didn't taste at all and the cake turned out without any problem! It's such a complicated design I think it needs a spray to get into all the crevices - I wouldn't recommend dusting it with flour - I tipped the tin upside down to get rid of any excess oil in the 'peaks'! It looks fabulous - an expensive tin but huge wow Factor! **Q: Is this pan any good for chiffon cakes? You have to cool the cake upside down in the mould - will the cake slip out, or will it lose definition?** A: Never done one but at a guess it's possible it could loose its definition **Q: Can you use fruit cake mixture in this tin** A: No ,bundt Tins wouldn't work with a fruit cake it would stick as you can't line it **Q: you show two sizes of pine forest bundt tin but do not give the diameter of either.
