There is no lag, it glides smoothly in procreate and writing ability is the same as if I am writing on paper. It was super easy to install too, just like replacing a regular tip for the apple pencil. I don’t know what the other artists are doing that causes them to break the tip, but I definitely think that is user error and I would recommend chilling out and not trying to use your apple pencil to break your ipad screen but thats just me.
