DO NOT buy it!! It is not a cast iron, it’s an iron with a lot of black paint and no matter how many times you wash it, black paint keeps coming off and your food will be destroyed. And once the lid touches the water, it will rust. Worst product I’ve purchased on Amazon.And even if you return the item back, the seller will NOT refund your money for it.

Get this Kazan!!
Bought for my husband as a birthday present and he really likes it, he wanted a big pot to make Plov. The cast iron is great quality, we've now seasoned it by cooking some meat in it first now hopefully it will be ready for Plov! The shape of the bottom isn't the best for our stovetop which is gas-grates and it can wobble a bit but that's just because of our stove style.
