Who wants a fan that needs assembling, and when it's finished, looks like a '50s or 60's relic, with a fan wobbling around inside an iron mesh...? Not me for sure, and THIS is absolutely the fan for today! Ready to go out of the box, and just plug it in.....a variety of settings and remote control, it keeps you cool any way you want, with the whole unit moving up, down, and sideways. Or....just in one direction if you like...NOT noisy...as some have suggested, although if you have it on VERY high, obviously there wlll be some noise, but on the lower settings, you can't hear a thing. Oh, and it looks great !!!

Used in a room in the house that gets the full wrath of the summer sun. This is a serious bit of kit! It’s not your atypical desk fan and is big, heavy and sturdy! On the higher settings it can be noisy, but it shifts air and the universal direction makes a big difference to comfort in the room, making a big difference to the room temperature. The ability to run to a timer is a welcome feature.

Had this 6 months i love it. Cleaning is easy. 1 is perfect for cool night but just want air movement to cool. 4 is loud but hey it's 25c and you ain't sleeping without a fan... 8 20seconds to spin up to full it's a roar for sure. 9" beam of wind. Not the American dount you normally get. The blade you see it's more an impeller than a fan as you think of it. Venture / impeller. All you need to know is 200rpm is 3mph whisper to 3 that's 600rpm 12mph... all the way to 8. Great control in a small package.Tired of killing 6inch fans noisy useless garbage. Upgrade to this you won't regret it. I forget it's on at 1,at 17c it's all you need.
