The old one was not ready to be replaced, but the phone was. They're very pliable, don't crack like other materials. Use the strap for safety on my wrist. No longer carry a purse since cards fit in slots and zipper pocket. The zippered pocket is durable, and I have had no issues with the fastener for that.
