I would advise to experiment first on an old piece of carpet or a corner of carpet where no one will see. Follow the instructions as far as you can. Make sure any hole in the carpet is filled up with the glue. I bought more UPVA glue as the stuff supplied wasnt enough for what I wanted. I also used my fingers to sprinkle the fibres on, and gently brushed access off after glue dried. Quite a good result.
