Review: Great for peace of mind and hungry mouths - Perfect. Bought two to see my 4 through a couple of days away at Christmas as they are gannets and I was worried they would run out of food. These still had food in them when we got back. I've left them on the cages so I don't have to fill them up so often. They are supposed to give 5 days of food and whilst this is true for my 2 Guineas, my rabbits burn through it in 3 days. I'd say it would depend on the rabbit size but mine are a small lionhead and a netherland dwarf so not even medium. It attaches via a bracket which is great with a standard hutch but not when you have an altered hutch like mine. It could do with an alternative fixing like the water bottle ones for example that you could hook on somehow round the wire. Great for peace of mind and hungry mouths Review: Gravity Bin Feeder - Good Product - I ordered this to use while I went on holiday for a week. The item is good quality and was easy to fit on my rabbit hutch. It holds about 4-5 days worth of food for my 1 dwarf rabbit. So I only had to have someone check up once during the week to top up the food/water. It worked perfectly for my purpose. At the time of purchase there was a PVC water bottle included within the product description. However this was not sent as expected. I emailed the seller and received prompt and polite reply apologising and received a small partial refund for my inconvenience, so I just brought another bottle from a local shop. my only concern is that my rabbit likes to chew on it so for fear of it breaking I wont be using it permanently over his original ceramic bowl, Just for occasional use if I know I am going to be away for more than a day. Overall I am very pleased bot with the product and the seller. ## Features - Provides clean and constant food supply, for rabbits, guinea pigs or other small animals - Large capacity feeder for big eaters - Space saving design, easily attaches to wire cages - Sifter floor removes unhealthy pellet dust - Colours vary, please let us choose for you ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0002AS9OM | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Are Batteries Required | No | | Batteries are Included | No | | Best Sellers Rank | 42,763 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) 27 in Automatic Feeders for Small Animals | | Brand | Kaytee | | Brand Name | Kaytee | | Breed Recommendation | Small Breeds | | Capacity | 907 g | | Colour | Green | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 1,545 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Small | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00045125619218 | | Included Components | 1 x Haustiernapf | | Is the item dishwasher safe? | No | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 16.5L x 14.6W x 21H centimetres | | Item Weight | 299 Grams | | Manufacturer | Superpet | | Manufacturer Part Number | 100079410 | | Material | Polyvinyl Chloride | | Material Type | Polyvinyl Chloride | | Model Number | 100079410 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Power Source | Manual | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Recommended Uses For Product | Indoor | | Recommended uses for product | Indoor | | Special Features | Easy to Clean, Easy to Use | | Special feature | Easy to Clean, Easy to Use | | Style | Einzigartige | | Target Species | Rabbit | | Target species | Rabbit | | UPC | 015568980121 045125619218 | | Unit Count | 1 count | ## Product Details - **Material:** Polyvinyl Chloride - **Target species:** Rabbit - **Brand:** Kaytee - **Recommended uses for product:** Indoor - **Special feature:** Easy to Use^Easy to Clean ## Images ![Kaytee Gravity Bin Feeder with Bracket to Attach to Small Animal Cage, Assorted Colours,6-1/2-Inch long, 5-3/4-inch wide, 8-1/4-inch high - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71tXBfKQ78L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can someone tell me the dimensions of this Feeder please?** A: It's about 6 inches wide and 8-9 inches tall. This is a very helpful feeder but I strongly advise you if you decide to buy this is to mount it solidly as my rabbit tosses it around. It comes with mounting brace. Also depending on where you mount the access to refill maybe difficult with the direction flap on top opens up to. You may want to remove the lid for refill accessibility. Lastly, this is a great product as it can hold many days of food even for a rabbit like mine who pun intented pigs out. I hope I was of some help to you. Good day to you. **Q: The bars on my cage run vertically, will this feeder be able to attach to them?** A: I don't think so. The hanger is made to hook on horizontal bars. I can't see any way to change the hooks. **Q: Anyone with rats that like to dig out and dump food, are the sides at the bottom opening high enough to keep that from happening?** A: My Guinea pigs climb up on it and like to pick through, so they still push food out with their noses all over the place.. **Q: Will this work with Lab blocks for rats?** A: yes.. it is just very hard to load the feeder if you did not cut a whole in the cage as the directions state you should do with his type of feeder ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for peace of mind and hungry mouths *by M***H on 24 February 2016* Perfect.
