They are easy to pump up (I use an electric pump that connects in the car and then i finish with the hand pump that is included when you buy the board). They are so easy to deflate when you are done. I love how they fold up in a bag and are so easy to transport! I feel so sturdy on these boards. That is what made me buy them- because I know I will use them for a long time. I already took them out multiple times and have had a wonderful experience every time I went!
