Review: Absolutely Fantastic Moong Dal! - Absolutely Fantastic Moong Dal! My New Pantry Staple. I've been cooking with lentils for years, and I can confidently say that this TAJ Premium Moong Dal is one of the best I've ever used. I am thoroughly impressed with the quality and will be purchasing this brand from now on. Here’s what makes it stand out: Exceptional Quality: Right out of the bag, you can see the difference. The lentils are incredibly clean, uniform in size, and have a beautiful, vibrant yellow color. I barely had to rinse them, as there was no dust or debris, which can be an issue with other brands. Cooks Beautifully: This moong dal cooks up quickly and evenly, resulting in a wonderfully creamy and smooth texture that's perfect for traditional dal recipes. It doesn't become mushy or lose its flavor. I used it to make a simple dal tadka, and the taste was fresh, authentic, and delicious.Versatile and Flavorful: The flavor is mild and slightly nutty, making it a perfect base for a variety of spices. It's fantastic for everything from a comforting kitchari to soups and stews. It absorbs flavors wonderfully, and the end result is always satisfying.Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase. If you're looking for high-quality, reliable, and delicious moong dal for your Indian cooking or just want to add a healthy lentil to your diet, I highly recommend the TAJ Premium brand.
