This Belkin is a whole new -and nice- story, it works flawlessly and also it's a solid piece of hardware, something I know can be use over and over again for years to come. It works!!! Antes probé dos adaptadores baratos y no funcionaron adecuadamente. Este Belkin es algo completamente diferente; trabaja sin fallas, además está muy bien hecho, muy sólido, muy durable. Review: Works great (once I located correct driver via Google) - Works like a charm and generally auto-installs without CD. However when it doesn't, watch out. Provided cd locked up on me. I finally determined that this cable was actually made by someone else and when I used their driver all was fine. I thought this was pretty crappy for as big a company as Belkin. I actually bought more of them though because it turns out to be most reliable of several I tried. btw... dont buy from Office Max, etc. They charged me over $50 for one until I found exact same unit on desertcart for $13 with free shipping. Sooo... let me do the math. Wholesale cost is prob under 5 bucks. Office Max and other big boxes mark it up TEN times nearly. Hmmm... I'm in business and If I charged that much margin I coulnt sleep at night. Thanks desertcart. ## Features - Belkin USB Serial Port Adapter (F5U109) - This product does not work with Windows 7 or Mac OS X. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00009L7MI | | Brand | Belkin | | Compatible Devices | GPS, PC | | Connector Type | Serial Adapter | | Current Rating | 1 A | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 21 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00722868392416 | | Item Weight | 0.27 g | | Manufacturer | Belkin Inc. | | Mfr Part Number | F5U409-CU | | Model Number | F5U409-CU | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Ports | 1 | | Package Quantity | 1 | | Power Plug Type | No Plug | | Specific Uses For Product | personal | | UPC | 722868392416 020626719698 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Type | Lifetime | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Belkin - **Compatible Devices:** GPS, PC - **Connector Type:** Serial Adapter - **Item Weight:** 0.01 Ounces - **Specific Uses For Product:** personal ## Images ![Belkin USB Serial Port Adapter (F5U409-CU) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41HVqzd9cXL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works!!! *by J***S on June 26, 2012* Belkin Usb Pda (To Serial) Adapter I tried before two of these aftermarket adapters and they did NOT work properly. I use the Belkin USB Adapter with a MacBook Pro inside VMware Fusion 2 and Windows XP. I like the red and blue LED's that go on and off confirming that the adapter is working. I've used it primarily to run ARC-1 with my Anthem Statement D2. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/5376836-belkin-usb-serial-port-adapter-f5u409-cu](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/5376836-belkin-usb-serial-port-adapter-f5u409-cu) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
