Review: Can be drying, but - Edit: it seems this company has added an artificial fragrance (which is bad for your skin) instead of the essential oil blend, which is what it used to be. This artificial fragrance is reflected on the actual label but it is not listed as such in the ingredients on desertcart. Will be replacing this in my routine with goat milk soap. I don’t know about for you all but my skin will be dry after a shower no matter what soap I use, especially in the winter. About one week ago I started to use this soap in combination with almond oil after my shower, Shea butter at night and rose water for my face (also drinking plenty of water and getting vegetables) and I don’t think my skin has ever glowed more, I can definitely tell a difference. Plus I really like the way this soap feels and it smells very good too.

**Q: Is this the same formula as the 3.5oz bar only bigger or is it different?**
A: Yes, this soap does come in a smaller 3.5oz size, but I love the 8oz bar, more for your money.

**Q: is there a difference with the soaps where one is noted for severely dry skin while another wrapper has a note for troubled skin?**
A: I have not noticed any difference.

**Q: Does this soap contain Tea Tree?**
A: No, it does not contain tea tree oil.

**Q: Can I use this on my hair and scalp?**
A: I use it in my hairline on the back of my neck because of a rash I get. It seems to help. If you use it as a shampoo I would use some conditioner too because it will take all the oil out of your hair.

I purchased Shea Moisture because I developed an eczema breakout for the 1st time in my life at the age of 58, never had it before now. Someone told me this soap cleared up their acne so I tried it on my severe eczema. It works wonderfully. I tried Dove and Glycerin soap but they didn't work like the Shea Moisture. No more itching or rash breakouts with this soap and so far, this is the only soap I'm using on my face and entire body for atleast 2 months now. I must add that I also started using Aquaphor over my entire body after showering with the Shea Moisture and nothing has cured my eczema better. I keep a jar at home and work and carry with me when I travel. They both go hand in hand! I'm so stoked with these two products!
