Does the job well and with ease
Could be a little sturdier plastic but does the job well. Easy to insert dough hook but I cannot remove dough hook; it's too tight but still cleans easily enough. However, easy to install/remove from mixer. Does what it's supposed to do. Recommend.

Stops climbing dough
Fits perfectly on my Levain and Co spiral dough hook and completely stopped my issue with aggressive dough climbing. Only downside is it’s kind of pricey.

Does what it's designed to do...But..
Does what it's designed to do. When mixing large batches of dough it keeps it from getting wrapped around the top of your dough hook, mixer shaft and drip cup. But it does have some design issues. I have the Kitchenaid Pro line 7 qt bowl lift mixer. The first issue is that the KneadAce is big. It is 5 inches in diameter which leave no room to add ingredients while it is spinning around. Trying to add flour only made a mess. I had to turn the mixer off every time I need to add more flour. Which bring me to my second issue. As you can see in the picture it has sides that extend up 3/4" which makes it a 5" diameter cup. So if you do not turn the mixer off when trying to add flour or any dry ingredients you will very easily dump it inside the top of the KneadAce. There is no way of getting it out without turning off the mixer and trying removing the dough hook from the mixer and dough to dump it back into the mixer bowl. Just remember to turn your mixer off before you try to add ingredients and it will work fine.
