Alka-Seltzer Heartburn does not contain aspirin. It goes to work on contact, unlike H2 blockers like Pepcid AC or Zantac and PPIs like Prilosec OTC and Nexium. Prilosec OTC and Nexium are not for immediate relief. They are only for frequent heartburn and must be taken for 14 straight days.
