Review: Not suitable for self-study - I bought this book as required for my university course and I honestly don't like it. It looks quite childish, almost as if it was for middle or high school. There are many pics, I believe the exercises aren't hard enough and it's badly organised: all the vocabulary and the grammar are in 2 another very thin book, this one exercises only. Absolutely not suitable for self-study as it's not organised to be so. This book is A2 level and in my opinion shouldn't be sold separately from the A2.1 and A2.2 glossaries (in which you can find grammar and vocabulary; FYI the grammar isn't well explained)

Really nice book, HOWEVER this is not a self study book. You would need a teacher to help you out and the kursbuch. For self study books there are other options such as Grammatik Aktiv.

These books give quite inadequate explanations and really only have any use as a course book if your teacher is using it.
