I stumbled upon these switches quite by accident when I was contemplating buying an entirely new pump with a float on it to regulate when it would go on and off. I'm glad I did. With a little creativity and a worm clamp I was able to fasten it to the outgoing 1/2 inch pipe and extend it further enough away from the pump itself and still have plenty of room for the float to move freely up and down. I only had a small amount of space to work with 12x12 all around with about 1.5 feet deep. It fit perfectly and operates flawlessly! I may need to adjust the height a little bit but for now it's working perfectly and I no longer have to babysit it to manually turn it off to prevent motor burn out. It is a set-it- and-forget-it deal!

I stumbled upon these switches quite by accident when I was contemplating buying an entirely new pump with a float on it to regulate when it would go on and off. I'm glad I did.
