Can you wash them?** A: Yes, I wash them after each use. They are very durable. **Q: Will this gel pad stay in place if you are wearing sandals?** A: I'm pretty sure that I've worn them with sandals at some point, but I wear them routinely with boat shoes without socks and I've never had a problem with them staying in place. BTW, I wear them to cover painful corns and I'm 6'5" and 230 lbs...which can be a test for anything foot related. I just make sure to wash and air dry them between wearings, and then they're good to go.
