I knew I needed something airtight with darker glass so that the viability of the spores would be preserved. The Ks-Tek 20 mL vials help me do exactly that. I’ve been using their 10 mL vials for a while and was excited to try this larger volume capacity. What I like most is that this larger volume allows me to fill two standard 10 cc (10 mL) syringes. This is enough volume to start multiple batches of lion’s mane mushrooms. After repeated uses the self healing ports have been holding up great and kept the samples isolated from the outside environment. I’ve used other 20 mL vessels and found I really enjoyed the short stout shape of these vials. This makes it easy to grip for a while and to avoid dropping.
