This much safer alternative emits a very fine mist (not even dense enough to wet the surface it sits on) which can be infused with the scent of your choice using essential oils. I gave 4 for the scents because with essential oil you get what you pay for. You will use these up quickly to get a pleasant smell but they are included in the price and you can't expect a high percentage of essential oil at this price.They are excellent value for what they are. I've bought some high grade essential oil now and the diffuser is fabulous. It looks attractive and you can either choose a colour display or let it cycle through the rainbow of colours.
