Hope to help you. **Q: I have a 7 month old French bulldog, he's quite chunky, would this bag be suitable??** A: There is no rigidity in the base and body of this bag and this then puts pressure on the straps therefore causes difficuly for the person carrying the dog. Our dog is a lhasa apso so not a large dog and he was definitely not comfortable in this bag. **Q: Is the L suitable for a Lab pup (socialisation, when too heavy to hold in arms). He is likely to be around 11kg before he can be put on ground?** A: I think you'd need to be pretty strong to pick the backpack up and put it on your shoulders with that weight inside and I'm not entirely sure a labrador pup who is that heavy wouldn't also be too big for it. My advice would be to find something quite a big larger, like one of those travelling carts on wheels. **Q: It's the L size is good for a puppy pug ? (like that I could use it when he will be an adult) and can I use it in my belly istead of the back ?** A: My 5 year old pug is fine in the large he is 10kg, we’ve had it 1 year and we used it again during the snow. You can wear it on the front, not something i found comfy or sustainable. The base of the bag digs in which ever way you wear it, I suggest some extra padding. This unfortunately was not ideal for me as i have mainly lower back problems. The base at the bottom of the inside of this bag dug into my back causing pain, tried cushioning it but nothing i tried to use was thick enough and also then just limited the space my cat had inaide the bag. The bag also does not sit straight or comfortably on your back no much how fiddling with the straps you do. When the base is removed the backpack is then useless as my rather fat, pregnant cat makes the bag fold in on itself. (She's still within the weight guide of this bag). Have tried to make it more supportive with cardboard and plenty of thick blankets but hasn't made a difference as the bag does not sit straight or comfortably at all when worn. The bit of padding at the bottom of the bag to protect your back is in completely the wrong place to stop the board digging in and is far to chunky to provide any relief from the board when it's in place. The quality of this bag is incredibly poor. Never have I ever seen something that just ripped so easily upon opening. I highly doubt that this would contain a squirmy puppy. I bought the Large, which says it can hold up to 22 pounds of dog - this is not correct. Just looking at it, my 11 pound puppy would not have been able to comfortably fit in it if I had been able to actually get her inside. I can't believe I just threw away money on this product. It could do with a bit more rigidity to keep the floor level, and I may try to improvise something, but my dog seems to like it and sits very comfortably even when the floor slopes down. The waist strap is too short to fasten over a thick coat...or rather it did fasten but the strap then pulled out of the buckle.
