The product description does not mention that you need a windows PC to access the cameras remotely if you do not want to use the Android app. After purchasing and setting up the box it became clear that to view the cameras remotely (on your home network or from anywhere on the internet) you need to have "active x" set up on your PC.As far as I can tell you cannot install active x on MAC or Linux based PCs.The vendor was polite and responsive when I asked them what to do.
