But they work so well that when I needed a new one I went with what works and all these years later B&D still makes an amazing jigsaw. The variable trigger is perfect, the way it is able to cut curves is outstanding. Nothing less that what I have received from my prior models of B&D jigsaws. And the price is terrific. Never will I buy another brand of Jigsaw. Review: I Used to Make a Cheap Theragun - I used this jigsaw to make a cheap Theragun massage gun, using some massage attachments that I also bought on desertcart. This is for my occasional aching muscles in my back, hamstrings, glutes, calves, arches, from working out. My chiropractor used something similar for a few minutes and charged my insurance almost as much as the cost of this jigsaw. Cheaper and easier just to buy this and use it whenever you want. This is much louder than a $600 Theragun, but its acceptable (your spouse won't be able to hear the TV if you use it in the same room) - but its also much stronger and more powerful than most therapy massage guns. Gets into the target areas. As some of the reviews have stated, the battery isn't the longest lasting, but it lasts long enough to give yourself (or have your spouse give you) a therapy gun type of massage treatment (10- 15 minutes is the typical time I use mine). I highly recommend. ## Features - VERSATILE USE – Make straight, curved, angled, and plunged cuts, even during detailed applications. - VARIABLE-SPEED TRIGGER – Cut up to 2,500 rpm for enhanced control over every job. - TOOL-FREE BLADE CHANGES – Quickly swap out both U and T shank blades without extra tools. - 45-DEGREE BEVEL SHOE – For angled cuts in both directions. - WIRE GUARD – Provides a clear line of sight for precise cuts. - BUILT-IN DUST BLOWER – Helps keep the worksurface clear of sawdust and debris for enhanced visibility. - POWERCONNECT BATTERY SYSTEM – Interchangeable battery system means you can use one battery for multiple different tools. - INCLUDES – (1) BDCJS20 jig saw, (1) jig saw blade, (1) 20V MAX* POWERCONNECT battery, (1) charger. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B078C5S3NC | | Best Sellers Rank | #204,450 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #68 in Power Jig Saws | | Blade Length | 20 inches | | Blade Material | Metal | | Blade Shape | Rectangular | | Brand | BLACK+DECKER | | Brand Name | BLACK+DECKER | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 3,802 Reviews | | Cutting Angle | 45 degrees | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00885911529273 | | Handle Material | Plastic | | Included Components | (1) BDCJS20 Cordless Jigsaw, (1) Jigsaw Blade (1) 20V Max* Lihium Battery, (1) Charger. | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 11"L x 3.5"W x 9"H | | Item Type Name | BLACK+DECKER BDCJS20C 20V MAX* JigSaw with Battery and Charger | | Item Weight | 5 pounds | | Manufacturer | BLACK+DECKER | | Manufacturer Part Number | BDCJS20C | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 2 year limited warranty | | Model Number | BDCJS20C | | Number of Batteries | 1 Lithium Ion batteries required. If I hold the trigger and just run the saw without stopping, it runs about 30 minutes. When you are using it working, sawing about 30-60 seconds at a time, it lasts about 5 hours, depending on how much you saw. If you are doing an all day job, I would have a spare battery handy, or recharge it during lunch. **Q: Does it come wit 2ah battery or 1.5 ah battery?** A: Includes (1) 1.5 amp hour battery. **Q: How loud is jigsaw?** A: The noise of this jigsaw is about the same as if it were powered by 110 v. I do not consider it "noisy". The noise level while sawing varies with the type of wood being sawn **Q: Is it available without the battery for a lower price?** A: It won't operate without a battery ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Black and Decker knows jigsaws! *by M***K on April 25, 2026* Black and Decker knows jigsaws!
