## Description

Montana Cans BLACK is a nitro combination-based paint in a high-pressure can that provides excellent control and handling. The low-odor, non-drip paint formula has a short drying time allowing for rapid re-application and overlapping of colors. The low-noise cans are compatible with all cap types and consistently make perfect lines. They are also winter-proof, achieving optimal performance even in cold climates. Available in powerful, high-covering matte finish colors that can be applied to any surface.

Review: Great spray paint - Really good spray paint. High pigment, vivid colors, even coverage. The difference is noticeable compared to hardware store spray paint. The quality is superior and it’s very easy to use. It very versatile for a range of applications from street art to furniture restoration to home improvement projects.
Review: Great coverage, dense pigment. - Got this to paint freshly welded steel in near freezing temps. Only used it to protect my new trailer from the elements until it’s warm enough to blast and paint with real automotive paint. It easily covered up the old paint color in a single pass and the color was predictable and consistent between cans. The spray pattern was perfect with little splattering. One of the cans arrived busted, but that’s ok. The paint is not very durable and is not recommended for automotive paint, but was the only paint I could find that was usable at freezing temps. For me it fit the bill. Would recommend.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great coverage, dense pigment.

### ⭐ Spitting splatter and pits
*by G***E on October 6, 2024*

I have used Montana paint before with good results however this Montana black has performed terribly. I have used spray cans many times and had mostly good results, but this can was very spitty and splattery. I even warmed the can to help thin the paint and it didn't help. First coat was really bad. I sanded to help smooth it out and ended up burning through to primer in a small spot on the edge so I had to recoat and many tiny pits formed in the coat and now I'm going to have to resand the project which is quite frustrating. The Montana gold (in red) performed very well on another project but I'm guessing the higher pressure of black is causing some issues.
