Review: Worthy of the cost - Imalent has become a favorite brand of mine, 3 purchases in and still looking for the next. Products can me in exquisite packaging, flashlights are durable with great battery life for the amount of lumens they cast. Powerful devices, be careful when using for long periods of time, light will get hot to the touch. Will easily burn through paper , always lock when device is not in use. Unremarkable quality.
Review: It’s a very nice flashlight! Worth the purchase. - Super bright. Very durable, and extremely compact. This is the only flashlight worth buying if you are willing to spend $50 or whatever the price is. You could purchase another flashlight from any brand and I would almost guarantee that it would not even come close to touching this type of technology, and quality. I’ve seen bright flashlight’s, but I was shocked #1 for the amount of light this puts out, and #2 the size. I initially thought that it was damaged because it had been left out in the rain, but it apparently is waterproof and did not work because I needed to charge it first. The charging cable does kind of suck because it’s magnetic and it’s tricky to get it in the right spot and I’m order for it to stay there you have to let it sit without moving it, but the battery lasts a good amount of time unless it’s on turbo mode, which by the way will catch something on fire if it is touching the lens of the flashlight so be careful , although that is a very useful happenstance because,, if you need to start a fire for any reason, you could easily start one with only this flashlight! There are several different settings I believe they are like 20 lm and then 100 lm and then 900 lm and then 2000 lm or something and then it’s like 4500 lm on average for turbo mode. It has a strobe mode and the ability to be locked by pressing the button four times so it isn’t going to be turned on in your pocket on accident, and an led screen display. It can literally turn pitch black dark forests into daytime.. buy it!! :D

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Flashlight
*by M***K on November 28, 2024*

I love IMALENT flashlights because they are well built and have great control of light output. I've got MS12 Mini (65K lumen), MSO3W and MSO3 (both 13K lumen, I think they are the most versatile), and this one, LD70. LD70 has 5 light intensity modes, from 20 to 4K lumen (the widest range of all). I love the low 20 lumen mode because most of the time you need this one when getting up at night as it won't blind you. The lowest MSO3 mode is 150 lumen which sometimes is too much. This was the main reason I bought LD70. It is small and works great, and when needed, 2K lumen (the highest standard mode) is plenty of light. Some people downgraded review if IMALTNT flashlights because they get hot when used at max output, but IMHO this is nonsense as they don't understand the physics. LEDs are very economical lights, but if lots of light is produced they must put out lots of heat too. My reason of downgrading from 5 stars is that the battery is not replaceable and that they supply a specialized charging wire instead of a standard, cheaply replaceable USB C cable. So, if you loose the original cable you are better off buying a new flashlight (comparable price). Also be careful not to completely drain the battery as it significantly shortens life of the whole flashlight in this case. Fortunately, there is a display showing the voltage and light intensity, a very handy and unique feature.
