In fact the documentation mentions a 26-27 stone load and you would certainly believe it!The legs and frame are very tough and the rubber feet are substantial and give a very firm grip to the stool. The contoured mats on the steps are also very good at giving you stability, when you climb up.I tried it straight away to put up some curtains and it felt very secure and made this kind of everyday job, much easier. So, there are many jobs where you can't quite reach, but don't want the hassle of getting a ladder out and carrying it around - which is where this comes in as time-saving, but safe.An ideal solution for those household jobs where you want to save time, but not compromise on safety.
