Seems straight forward on how to use . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bad interface good water taste *by S***S on March 21, 2026* I got this the other day and just set it up now. I washed the kettle with soap and water and then boiled water in it to clean it before use. On the first boil the water tasted good and safe to drink. With others I've tried there was a bad taste that never went away with cleaning and boiling and dumping. The controls are confusing. There are only 2 buttons even though it seems like there are 4. I would have preferred to use Centigrade instead of Featherweight. For Tea there seems to be a timer setting where it will keep the water hot while it steeps but I don't understand how to set the time on Tea. Also some teas don't want boiling hot water. Ideally there would be a way to set temp and time, but it's not clear how to do that with the controls. There is also just setting the temp and the kettle will keep it at that temp until all the a water is boiled away. I was hopping it would heat the water and then stop and signal it was done. It does not do that with what I've tried. I have to take the kettle off the base to turn the unit off which uses up counter space more than it could be off and on the base and still plugged-in. The interface is not great. The taste in the water is trust worthy safe. It does boil the water nicely.
