Yes it does help for any blue light. I've used glasses for over 6 months and can confirm the effectiveness of blocking any blue light to keep your eye in a relaxed mode at all times.

Q: At the top it says these glasses are uv400 but below the seller says it only blocks blue light. do these glasses block uva & uvb?

I wear mine all day as it does not only prevent blue light while working on a screen but also provide slight tint while outside. The glasses is also ligh weight too. Fantastic combination!
