What was I thinking? Could have got a better one at bunnings for a tenth of the price. Have no idea why it was so expensive. Can I return it? Review: Great and sturdy - Beautiful made. Came assembled already. Nothing for me to put up, fix or assemble. Thank you for that. Not heavy. It has an iron holder. It has a cover but I bought a heat protective one anyway. Love it. Super sturdy. It doesn't wobble. ## Features - EUROPEAN QUALITY BUILT - With years of research and development, Bartnelli finally comes up with a revolutionary design that β€œirons” out every Ironing Board issue. This product is designed in the Netherlands and made in Europe so you can ensure efficient performance that will do the job in the most convenient way possible. - PATENTED IRONING BOARD TECHNOLOGY- Our Iron Boards are equipped with 2 unique features: Parking Zone and Turbo Zone. The Parking Zone is a special area on the board that allows you to sit your hot iron flat without burning the surface. The Turbo Zone allows you to reset the iron’s smoothness when its plate gets a bit harder to slide on the fabric. - 4-LAYER, EXTRA-THICK PAD & COVER - This Iron Board measures 43x13 inches. It is covered with an extra-thick pad and cover that provide a good cushion for ironing while permitting the absorption of excess steam – resulting in a faster ironing process. Each board comes with a dedicated safety iron rest - HEAVY-DUTY STEEL LEGS - Reinforced with high-quality steel legs, our Ironing Board ditches the wobbly work of ironing in most Iron Tables. Its 4 legs ensure matchless durability and stability. With Its Intelligent lock technology. Storage is never a problem as it is Easily foldable! - TURBO ZONE ADVANTAGES - This newly developed Patent technology will further help you cut your ironing time in half, by gliding over the turbo zone with your iron 3 times to activate the Easy-Glide Iron. it will make your iron glide so smoothly you wont believe your own eyes, but Rest-Assured it is real, with years in research and development we are glad to finally bring the latest innovation to your ironing, straight from Europe - PARK ZONE ADVANTAGES - This newly developed fabric is woven with steel in the cotton to allow a hot iron to sit on the Park Zone for 10 minutes without any damage or discolor, and is safe enough to keep up to 72 Hours without burning it. This allows you to make a coffee or see who is at the door during ironing, it can cut your ironing time in hal: since you wont need to place the iron up between ironing different areas of the clothing, u just leave it on the park zone. - YOUR SAFETY AS OUR #1 PRIORITY - Your iron can stay hot for up to another 30 minutes after you unplug it. That’s where the Parking Zone becomes a lot more beneficial. Instead of putting it in the iron rest, you can simply lay it flat in the Park Zone and let it cool there before storage. It keeps the hot iron safe from accidental touch, especially for kids and pets. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09HZ7QD12 | | Best Sellers Rank | #2,668,849 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #860 in Ironing Boards | | Brand | Bartnelli | | Colour | Black/Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 2,444 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Alloy Steel | | Frame Material | Alloy Steel | | Is Foldable | Yes | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 121.9L x 35.6W x 7.6H Centimeters | | Item Type Name | Ironing Board | | Item Weight | 5.14 kg | | Manufacturer | Bartnelli Rorets | | Manufacturer Part Number | 9738-4301W01 | | Material | Alloy Steel | | Model number | 9738 | | Mounting Type | Surface Mount | | Number of Items | 1 | | Pattern | Floral | | Product Dimensions | 121.9L x 35.6W x 7.6H Centimeters | | UPC | 042796973816 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Brand:** Bartnelli - **Colour:** Black/Black - **Product Dimensions:** 121.9L x 35.6W x 7.6H Centimeters - **Pattern:** Floral ## Images ![Bartnelli Classic Ironing Board with New Patent Technology | Made in Europe Iron Board with Patent Fast-Glide Zone, 4 Layer Cover & Pad, Height Adjustable, Safety Iron Rest, 4 Premium Steel Legs - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Qk7oZktqL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: how thick is it when folded for storage?** A: The top is 2" or less but the feet stick out several inches. It slides perfectly inside my bedroom closet. For the small size, it's sturdy when set up. I took a picture but it doesn't appear I can load it. **Q: Can the iron rest be removed?** A: No. It's on there for good unless it breaks off or you saw it off. **Q: Does the 44” length include the ironing rest? What is the size of the ironing surface?** A: I bought this because it says it was 44" long. It's not. When you fold it and factor in legs, etc., it is around 51". I wanted to hang it in my laundry room cupboard, which is 47" high. I may still keep as it seems sturdy, and I am thinking I can hang it in another closet. Frustrating. **Q: has anyone hung this up? How did it go? And what did you use?** A: Yes, we hung ours with an over the door hanger from Amazon, it also held the Iron as well. Works great! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Waste of money *by G***T on 20 July 2024* No way it is worth the $362 I paid for it. What was I thinking? Could have got a better one at bunnings for a tenth of the price. Have no idea why it was so expensive. Can I return it? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great and sturdy *by M***M on 31 July 2021* Beautiful made. Came assembled already. Nothing for me to put up, fix or assemble. Thank you for that. Not heavy. It has an iron holder. It has a cover but I bought a heat protective one anyway. Love it. Super sturdy. It doesn't wobble. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love this ironing board *by J***Y on 8 September 2022* The ironing board, is not too heavy and it is sturdy. I like the thickness of the fabric pad and the cute design. As a mom, I bought this for my personal use (hence the cutesy design, so ironing doesn't feel like a chore), separate from the household ironing board we already had. I bought the board with rose-colored legs and the fabric has images of scarves, pumps, gloves, and handbags. It is a feminine design, but it is just for me and I love it. I actually enjoy ironing my clothing and work scrubs now. I have been using this for a couple weeks now and the fabric is thick enough that the metal beneath it does not leave an impression on my clothing. The board is sturdy and does not wobble. I am 5'1" and it is the perfect height for me. It may be too short for someone much taller, unless they are seated. At the time of this review, this specific print is not being offered by the seller, so it appears i ordered just in the nick of time. If you see a print that your heart is set on, don't wait. Order it while it is still available. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bartnelli Classic Ironing Board with New Patent Technology | Made in Europe Iron Board with Patent Fast-Glide Zone, 4 Layer Cover & Pad, Height Adjustable, Safety Iron Rest, 4 Premium Steel Legs - BLACK+DECKER Easy Steam Compact Iron for Clothes, Automatic Shutoff, Nonstick Plate, Light Weight, 1200 Watts --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/551472405-bartnelli-classic-ironing-board-with-new-patent-technology-made-in](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/551472405-bartnelli-classic-ironing-board-with-new-patent-technology-made-in) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
