Lovely shade of gold. I painted on white chocolate, after it had cooled. Great value for money, arrived in great time, and was well packaged. Would def buy again, so I highly recommend it. Review: Gold lustre dust! - I wasn't sure from the picture when I first ordered this whether it was going to be food colouring or lustre dust. Anyway I am happy to report that the product is gold metallic lustre dust which is what I actually needed. It arrived on time and came in a pot size which was just under 5cm in height. It's a really nice colour and lightly dusted over chocolates made a lovely addition to my cake. Good product and great service, would recommend this supplier. ## Features - Use to create a fabulous metallic sheen on all sugar and chocolate work. - Can be mixed with alcohol or confectioners glaze to make a paint. - Use a thin coat of Squires Kitchen's patented Gildesol on sugar surfaces for an even richer metallic effect. - Add a sprinkle to your cocktails or Prosecco for some added glamour. - Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B004HG94WS | | Best Sellers Rank | 88,518 in Grocery ( See Top 100 in Grocery ) 540 in Food Colouring | | Brand | Squires Kitchen | | Brand Name | Squires Kitchen | | Colour | Classic Gold | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 834 Reviews | | Diet Type | Vegan, Vegetarian | | Item Form | Powder | | Item Type Name | Classic Gold Edible Lustre Dust | | Item Weight | 5 Grams | | Item form | Powder | | Item weight | 5 Grams | | Manufacturer | Squires Kitchen | | Manufacturer Contact Information | Squires Kitchen, The Packhouse, Blackmoor, Liss, Hampshire, GU33 6BP | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Part Number | CL04A020-04 | | Size | 5 g (Pack of 1) | | Speciality | Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. | | Specialty | Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. | | UPC | 721865786334 | | Unit Count | 5.0 gram | | Unit count | 5.0 gram | ## Images ![Squires Kitchen Designer Classic Gold Metallic Lustre Dust 5g - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61S-q2Xhh5L.jpg) ![Squires Kitchen Designer Classic Gold Metallic Lustre Dust 5g - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61qEkChKEeL.jpg) ![Squires Kitchen Designer Classic Gold Metallic Lustre Dust 5g - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71CXVEXklXL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Do squires do the dust in other colours like black red blue ? etc** A: They do various shades, not sure about blues, etc. **Q: Can you colour white fondant?** A: Yes, do a thin layer of colour and leave it to dry, build up your layers until you're happy with the result 🙂 **Q: Can this be mixed with clear alcohol to make a paint?** A: Yes it can . It arrived next day and the glitter goes really far. The colour is exactly as expected and gives my cake that beautiful finish. I used about half a pot for my cake but that’s because I did some testing with it before using it. I didn’t want to use Rejuvenator Spirit or vodka so I ended up mixing mine with vegetable oil and it turned out great. No taste to it and it mixed really well. ## Frequently Bought Together - Squires Kitchen Designer Classic Gold Metallic Lustre Dust 5g - Metallic/Shimmer Balls Edible Cupcake Cake Topper Sprinkles (35g Pouch) (Metallic Gold) - Sugarflair Black Extra Food Colouring Paste, Maximum Concentrated Food Colouring for Buttercream, Sugar Paste, Royal Icing, Cake Decorations and More!
