It also separated acute and chronic differentials, which I found useful.Also, Im a stronger believer that medical books are a waste of time, because the internet has everything you need. But when the information is presented as easily and clearly as it is in this book, I couldnt resist- and I have no regrets.Ive now passed finals, and the only 2 books I used were the oxford handbook and this. (+ ALOT of internetting). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great book for clinical reasoning. *by R***Y on 31 March 2018* This is a great book to learn how to clerk patients. Memorise the questions, good for medical school finals. Good for those 'surgical' minded people who just want to get to the point of it and forget the rest, I mean, does it really matter how many dogs the patient has at home if it's a severe asthma exacerbation? I would expect the foundation trainee to know the asthma guidelines and to treat accordingly. A lot of medical school questions are not really useful in real clinical work. Because as a foundation trainee, you'd be doing alot of paperwork and things like inserting cannula's, not making a diagnosis of microscopic polyangiitis. Tells you how much I think about medical school training nowadays. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant Condition *by D***D on 2 October 2021* Despite being used, it was in brilliant condition and could hardly tell it wasn't new. Perhaps on the pricey side for being second hand, but the buyer wrote an honest description of the book and I'm pleased.
