Seems like that would provide the same effect for free...** A: I used to have a rubber band, and when I had it my cards and money got stuck because of the rubber band, this wallet is really easy to put and to take out the cards and money, they don't get stuck, and its really nice looking **Q: Any issues with the cards scratching each other ?** A: My cards are already scratched and worn so its hard to tell but the cards hardly move if at all when their in your pocket **Q: How many cards can it hold?** A: My husband has about 8 in his. But he doesn't like this wallet. The band around the wallet is almost the same material as those little plasticy-rubber bracelets kids wear. Although it does hold cards if you're looking for something sturdy I'd recommend spending a little more for something else. **Q: When you try to put cash in this wallet. I would have thought by now that the tension on the band would have loosened but it's still fine. I usually keep 6 cards in the wallet, sometimes 1 or 2 more, or the occasional parking or train ticket, but 8 cards would be the most I'd recommend in it.I got the black on black, which fits nice with the minimalist aesthetic. I'd consider buying a different colour band if and when this when gets too loose, as the two outer plastic sections are still like new.If I lost this wallet, I wouldn't look at alternatives - for me, this is the perfect size and weight, the durability is superb and it functions just fine for me.
