It's a quality product for home stereo/surround sound streaming from my phone. Sounds wonderful, clear and clean reception. I have not used it for a TV, but a Kenwood receiver, took all of 30 seconds to install and it's golden! I'm using it to transmit audio from a TCL Roku TV to my wife's wireless headphones (E600Pro). She's about 80% deaf. It works, and it's better than her blasting the TV and still not being able to hear it, but because Bluetooth insists on controlling the sound, she can't crank the volume up on the TV to her desired level.
