Stay protected from the sun with the Dev Fishing Boat Canopy Cover! For use while fishing or cruising speeds up to 15-20knots Review: Absolutely love it! We get so many people asking us where we got it. We leave it on the boat and have no issues. Review: Was a great shade extension for my center console T top. As a rule I didn’t leave it up while running but did a couple times between quick jumps to a new fishing spot. Boat it’s on a lift behind the house. I typically would leave shade up while sitting on lift. I got home one day and the pole had simply cracked in half and broke off completely!!! No bad storm to blame. Got no idea. We loved it for the 2 months while it lasted. ## Features - Ultimate Sun Protection – Stay cool and shaded during long days on the water with the SS100 boat canopy, providing 72" x 65" of sun-blocking coverage using durable, fade-resistant mesh fabric. - Easy Single Rocket Laucher Mount – Designed for boats 25 ft and under, the SS100 uses a one boat rocket launcher single mount for quick, hassle-free setup—no straps, drilling, or complicated parts required. - Lightweight & Durable Aluminum Frame – Built with sturdy 3-piece aluminum construction, the shade installs in minutes and holds strong while you fish or cruise. - Gear-Friendly Design – The SS100 occupies just one roocket launcher, leaving plenty of space for your fishing rods and gear to remain in use during operation. - Portable & Travel-Ready – Comes with a convenient carry bag for easy transportation and storage, making it the perfect grab-and-go solution for sunny fishing trips. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0B5B21TYJ | | Automotive Fit Type | Universal Fit | | Brand Name | Dev Fishing | | Color | Black | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Boat | | Customer Reviews | 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars (60) | | Manufacturer | Dev Fishing | | Manufacturer Part Number | SS100B | | Material Type | Aluminum | | Model Number | SB 100B | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | UPC | 711841874230 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Dev Fishing - **Colour:** Black - **Material:** Aluminum - **Number of pieces:** 1 - **Vehicle service type:** Boat ## Images ![6.5 x5.5 Black SS100 Single Rod Holder Stern Boat Center Console Sun Shade - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ynCUTqtwL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What kind of fabric is the sun shade made from.** A: Don’t know the exact material, but it’s similar to a soft dry fit stretchy material. Produces good shade, but on a windy day, the material will stretch to like a half moon. It would be better if the manufacturer would have use a canvas type material. **Q: How long does this take to assemble?** A: About 5 minutes **Q: What are the dimensions? what is the spf factor ? and are the rod holdwr brackwts adjustable?** A: The dimensions are 77" by 66". The SPF factor is 30. The holder can be adjusted to either the left or right to align with the center of the boat. **Q: Can you actually ride around with this on or does it have to come down?** A: You are able to ride around with it on. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by D***Y on 15 June 2025* Absolutely love it! We get so many people asking us where we got it. We leave it on the boat and have no issues. ### ⭐ Review *by V***N on 23 September 2024* Was a great shade extension for my center console T top. ### ⭐⭐ Review *by C***. on 3 August 2025* This is not a handy or useful shade at all. The shade does not fold down, or deploy quickly and is NOT safe at any running speed. Do NOT buy this unless you plan on using it stationary. Then, you will need somewhere to store this as it does not fold down at all. Each time you want to take it apart or deploy, you need their special wrenches and then you are trying to store poles that are between 6 and 8 feet long. The description makes it seem easy to use etc., not so much so. We came back from vacation and only had 30 days to return this, we are outside of the window and never used it after we tried once. One of the very few things I have bought for boating that was just entirely unimpressive. ## Frequently Bought Together - Dev Fishing 6.5 x5.5 Black SS100 Single Rod Holder Stern Boat Center Console Sun Shade - Magma Cabo Grill - Marine-Grade Stainless Steel Barbecue Grill for Boats - Portable Propane Gas with 9”x18” Grilling Surface - Heat-Resistant Handle, Fold-Away Legs - Ideal Boat Accessory - Magma Products Serving Shelf, Removable Cutting Board, Fits Rectangular Grills --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/556484870-6-5-x5-5-black-ss100-single-rod-holder-stern](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/556484870-6-5-x5-5-black-ss100-single-rod-holder-stern) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
