Perfect cutouts and a really, really good fit.The case is thicker than the camera island so it protects the camera. The side buttons are below the level of the case too and are protected, yet are still easy enough to operate. The sides are protected.The top and bottom are open and the front edges of the case are fairly flush with the screen so no real protection there is you put the phone face down.The back of the case has the texture as in the product photos, it does give some grip, but not as much as I expected. The sides are smooth and offer just a little more grip than the naked phone.Overall, I like the case, for me it would get 5 stars if it was that bit more grippy but as it stands at least it does make the phone feel more secure in the hand and more likely to survive a fall than if it were naked.Update: August 2019I still like this case but I've been through two of them now. First one lasted seven months, second one lasted six months. Happened on the first one and I thought it was just a one off so I bought another one. Unfortunately this one has done the same. I've never dropped the phone so it's not as a result of impact just the stress of being clipped over the phone. Shame really.
