Will it burn out?** A: no **Q: Different parts of the description state that its npt or nps, which one is it?** A: Went Lowes and bought a 1" female threaded adapter and it worked fine. As far As I know that is npt. **Q: Do I need a dc thermostat for this and if so do you sell them** A: You can not use the AC thermostat with 48V.
