The "barrel" I refer to is the "sleeve" that you push up to reveal the micro usb. What that has to do with it, I have no clue. Double press only turns high power on quickly. I've had the flashlight for 10 months and the clip is so weak the flashlight keeps coming off.** A: With the clip removed from the flashlight, slightly constrict both wraparound tabs, either with your thumb, or by squeezing with pliers / Channel-Locks AFTER applying several protective layers of tape over the tabs to prevent marring the clip's finish.
