A: That's actually something I really love about the mat. Super flexible. I roll it up alongside the saran wrap and aluminum foil and call it a day. It'll work great with a rolling pin.

A: I don't know that this is "acetone proof" but I do know I have used pure acetone to clean off epoxy/resin from this and the mat itself has held up fine.

**Q: Can this be safely used as a 'hot pad', to keep hot things from burning/scorching a wooden counter top?**
A: I love this mat!  It is heat resistant but I have not put a fish on it straight from the oven. Hot dish will be great on it. The mat is thin so there is some heat transfer to the surface underneath the mat.
