It will NOT stick to soft, plush, velour, material surfaces etc. 4) Wipe the surface you intend to stick the lights to thoroughly with a clean damp cloth. 5) Give the surface you intend to stick the lights to a firm wipe with rubbing alcohol on a dry cloth. 6) Peel off the waxed paper covering the stick surface, and press the light strip FIRMLY against the hard surface you are sticking them to, and keep pressed firmly for at least 30 seconds before fixing the remaining light strips. It sticks perfectly.
