A: Ive used one for over a year and it still works great.  No they are made in China but better quality than the one i had made in America

A: It takes 2 aaa batteries,  which mine came with.

I have an issue with eyelashes that grow into my eye, and I need to remove them with tweezers. I had always used a larger flashlight to be able to see to do this. This little medical light is so much easier, and the perfect solution for this problem. I just used it for the first time for this purpose. The flashlight is lightweight (but not "cheap" lightweight), rechargeable, and small enough that I can tuck it away in my drawer and not have anyone take it to use for something else. It is high quality, works well, and I love the magnet capability but have not used it yet. I'm very happy with this purchase.
