This will only read a Conax type card. It will not read a Videoguard type card (Sky). Sky have deliberately prevented a CAM being available for their cards. **Q: what extra stations can you get with this above what you get on free view and will it work on my Samsung 32" TV Which is provided with a ci card** A: I did use for my satellite receiver and this works with any Conax encrypted card. **Q: will this unit work with sky** A: I didn't try with Sky unit, normal decoder is working fine. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ i do not recommend you to buy this *by D***E on 18 August 2015* It dose not work and I believe that this CI module is not made by Conax. It looks like another make with a Conax sticker over it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Just as Expected *by M***K on 30 January 2016* This Conax CAM works great. I use it in a Technomate 5402 which although claims to have a built in mulitcrypt CAM, stopped working with a Conax card. With no software updates available from Technomate (their customer support is useless as well) for this model it was either buy a new decoder or buy a Conax CAM to slot into the CI slot on the 5402.
