The frame is beautiful wood and looks lovely in the garden.It does take two people to put the hammock together and it is not easy to get the holes aligned: it took us some pains to get it right but it was worth it.A very solid piece of outdoor furniture: it will hold two standard size adults comfortably and without any sense of unease that it might break.The hammock which is supplied with it is a flat hammock. This type is not nearly so stable as wraparound hammocks. Whether or not you use the guide ropes it is easy to get tipped out. For that reason, I bought a different, wraparound hammock for it. The fittings supplied are fine for both types. ### ⭐ DO NOT BUY THIS *by S***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 June 2015* Originally I was pleased with this until it began to fall apart after less than a year. All 6 of the wooden sections have started to delaminate and 2 to split within the layers. The supplier has refused to replace the faulty parts unless I can prove that it was due to a manufacturing problem and not due to misuse! They know full well that it nigh on impossible to do this.There is clearly a problem here - see review by Giromondo 22 July 2014 who reports same problems and equal lack of interest from supplier. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect! *by A***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 July 2014* After an initial delivery error (the driver forgot to leave the hammock) the customer service sorted it and he returned a day later with the 2nd parcel. Easy to assemble, pretty much did it alone, just needed help with the first four bolts for the base. The hammock is super comfy and and whole base really sturdy, good quality wood.
