Can this wood stick really weigh 4oz???** A: It might be a typo, I figure it's around a pound, maybe a tad less. Still regardless, for people that don't like canes this is well worth it. Plus you have the added security if someone wants to mess with you. I kinda live in a bad place and when I have to walk somewhere near home, it's nice to have this along, regardless of it's dogs or people. Don't know if I'd use it for mountain lions though (LOL). **Q: I have some Neuropathy in my feet and need some help with walking. In your opinion, would this help?** A: I have MS and my neurologist suggested a walking stick rather than a cane when I'm having walking issues, including neuropathy in my feet. I had been using a cane prior to my neurologist's suggestion. So I ordered a walking stick. I stand straighter using a walking stick that I do with my cane. Plus there is more to hang onto and pull yourself up with from a sitting position. I own several Brazos sticks and canes. The hickory stick is the prettiest and strongest in my opinion, and my favorite. I'm 6' 285lbs and this twisted hickory stick supports my weight.
