It's beautiful, simple to hang with tree straps, and UNBELIEVABLY comfortable! I took forever deciding on a hammock after my kids fell in love with my neighbor's quilted one. I am SO glad I went with this! SO much more comfortable than the quilted style and holds much more weight so the whole family can pile in without worrying about it collapsing. I haven't tested it close to the 800+ weight limit yet, but we've easily hit 500lbs with no trouble.The cotton string will probably not hold up like a polyester, especially since I have it outside in the Pacific Northwest and will probably let it get rained on more than it should, but I've had it for about 3 weeks now and use it EVERY day and just adore it! I'm glad I went with a style that has spreader bars... I don't feel trapped at all... though I'm not sure what one is like without them...I hung this between two large fir trees that are about 20 feet apart. I was worried about this because I'd read the hanging distance shouldn't be too far or it would be much more likely to flip over, but I just bought some chain to extend the distance and no one has flipped out of it yet. I was sure I would!Every time I go outside and see it there so lovely between my trees I can't help but smile... and every time I lay down in it to relax I am so incredibly happy I bought it!! The Tropical Siesta company was also exceptionally helpful and professional while assisting me with a small problem after ordering and they even jumped in to help me immediately when I had lots of trouble with FedEx. The last one served us well. It supports the weight of two people without a problem. The colors did fade fairly quickly in the sun but that is not unusual for any fabric that is outside with our high ultraviolet light at this altitude. The spreader bar makes it extremely stable and easy to get in and out of.
