(Also for when my shaky hands break one of the wires while I'm trying to clear a piece of broken filament out of the extruder.) As with any replacement hot end, do NOT assume it is assembled properly from the factory. (NO manufacturer provides properly assembled hot ends.) Watch the video on AnkerMake's web site and follow ALL the steps to ensure that it is assembled and installed properly. Note especially that the hot end is NOT attached to the heat sink when you receive it - that's what those two M2 screws are for - so don't just pop the whole thing in place and start trying to print or you'll end up with a big mess to clean up. Seriously, follow all the steps in the video. My biggest recommendation is to keep at least one spare hot end assembly handy. If you need a new hot end now, order two so you can install one and keep one as a spare. This specific part was completely jammed (my fault) and being able to replace the one part that’s broken instead of needing to buy a whole new extruder is how things should be.
