You are correct about the posts, on my diesel they will stretch enough to fit, V8 ecu box/ wiring should be similar if not identical. I later found a cheaper version with posts at rear on batterymegastore.co.uk. I have had no issues with this battery, loads of power and surprising what little gremlins disappear when computers are fed properly.
