OK it can't compete with say an opticron DBA 8x42WA monocular in image quality or low light conditions but then that is a much larger and much more expensive instrument. What you get is very good for both its size and price is excellent optical quality. It will focus remarkably closely and with an overall length of just 95mm its small enough to take everywhere.
