## Description

Knomix Plastic Hinge Swivel + XM4 U Shaped Metal Hinge Lock Grove Replacement for Sony WH-1000XM4 WH1000XM4 Headphone

Review: Good quality and fit perfectly - The process for fixing this is a bit tedious. Please be careful when taking off the gasket rubber ring. Also I think that the screw driver should be a little bigger. When screwing off the motherboard you might need to press hard and trun the screw at the same. Other then that everything is good.
Review: Time-consuming way to ruin to ruin your expensive headphones - Well, this really is a crppy piece of kit! As multiple others have noted, the screwdriver is possibly the wrong size. It has stripped one of the (very tiny) screws, although this may also be due to Sony using poor quality, overly tight screw. Nevertheless, I painstakingly followed all the steps in the video, put it all back together. Everything looked fine until I tried to charge it. The light keeps flashing red (supposedly indicating overheating) and the headphones no longer work.

*by A***S on 30 April 2024*

Repair was straightforward if a somewhat involved set of steps - check the YouTube video to see of your comfortable doing it yourself. The part fit and the spunger and screwdriver worked perfectly. Much cheaper than buying a new pair of headphones, for sure!
