Formulated for versatility, this pipe thread sealant works with all metal and plastic pipes, including PVC, CPVC, ABS, polypropylene, and nylon). It also double-functions as a lubricant to enable easy disassembly without stripping threads. Review: Ratings are accurate... - First and foremost, I am not a plumber, but I have done a few DIY projects around my home. I ordered this product based on its ratings among previous buyers. It was used to seal the underside of a bathtub drain. The putty itself is very soft, easy to roll out, and did not stick to my rubber gloves when I applied it to the metal fitting. I conducted a lengthy water test to confirm there were no leaks (bubbles rising up) from the sealed plug. The putty did the job, and the replacement was a success. I have saved countless dollars in labor costs by skipping the plumber and watching multiple DIY videos for these simple replacements. You can use this product with confidence. Review: Excellent, quality product - This product is excellent!! It’s very pliable, like play dough, so if you don’t position it correctly the first time, you can remove it and replace it again. The product doesn’t dry or harden which is great because it makes it easy to remove if need be, yet the durability, functionality, and seal ability are excellent and my bathroom sink hasn’t leaked one drop of water since I used this product. One last thing is that you don’t have to wait hours or days before you can use your sink, you can use your sink immediately. I highly recommend this product and I would definitely purchase it again. I included pictures pointing out where I placed the putty. ## Features - For setting and sealing plumbing fixtures and drains - Creamy, non-separating, grit-free formula fills in threads to ensure a leak-free, pressure-tight joint - Slow-drying, soft-setting pipe sealant allows ample time to work with pipe joints; acts as a lubricant to enable easy disassembly - Suitable for a wide range of gas, plumbing, and water piping applications - Very low VOC content (152 g/L) to help improve crew working conditions ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0032TXA5S | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars (94) | | Date First Available | 8 November 2021 | | Item model number | 80100 | | Item volume | 14 Fluid Ounces | | Manufacturer | IPS Corporation | | Part number | 80100 | | Product Dimensions | 7.62 x 7.62 x 12.7 cm; 45.36 g | ## Images ![Weld-On 80100 White Soft Seal Plumbers Putty. 14 oz. Oh no, plumbing! *by P***B on 18 March 2026* This stuff worked great for me, I also don't know much about Plumbing. That dreaded "P" word scares me while giving heartburn and raising blood pressure. I avoid as much of the "P" as I can. But I also don't want to pay labor and visit cost if I can get away with it. Read directions. Followed directions exactly, and no issues. We're 6 months into the sink work and so far no. . . . . Im going to stop right there. This stuff is legit, follow the directions EXACTLY, and it will do well. ## Frequently Bought Together - WELD-ON 80100 Soft Seal Stain-Free Plumber's Putty - Lead-Free, Non-Corrosive, and Waterproof,14 oz - VOTMELL 4 Rolls 1/2 Inch(W) X 520 Inches(L) Teflon Plumbers Tape,Pipe Sealing & Plumbing Thread Tape,PTFE Water Sealant Seal for Shower Head,White - GE Advanced Silicone Caulk for Kitchen & Bathroom - 100% Waterproof Silicone Sealant, 5X Stronger Adhesion, Shrink & Crack Proof - 2.8 fl oz Tube, Clear, 1 Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/574289724-weld-on-80100-white-soft-seal-plumbers-putty-14-oz](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/574289724-weld-on-80100-white-soft-seal-plumbers-putty-14-oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
