Hoping it would stand up better than the round rings that I’ve used in the past. But when I put the case on my phone and tried to use the ring to secure my phone in my hand, the ring doesn’t rotate so it’s annoying. If you want it for a stand it’s great! It works vertical or horizontal. The magnetic piece turned out to not be very magnetic when I tried to use it, but that's fine because I personally don't have a need to use it. The holder is very sturdy when it comes to uplifting the phone. The small handle broke after a couple months of use but it still lasted a long time.
