I ended up with a total of 3 bodies, all found on the floor in the open so not as if they go back to the nest or hide to die, rot and smell unfound. So I do think I am lucky in that respect. My advice would be check before walking blindly in any room to avoid the squelch. It is not very nice I can assure you. Would have liked to have seen a faster demise time. Perhaps being the mice were of the Field variety opposed to House mice so they may have built some form of resistance to chemicals or poisons. If bad infestation I would advise buying twice as much as required and keep cubes in place for longer. Which begs the question are they value for money. I tried humane Trap first without success prior to getting this Big Cheese. Use the hole in each block to nail them to apiece of wood. You can then push it under decking, a shed, a piece of old guttering etc. Then, only the rats and mice can get at it. Keep replacing the blocks until they stop eating it- then you know they’re gone! **Q: It says free delivery but when I place the order there is a charge of £14.99 for delivery. What is going on?** A: That doesn't seem right. My delivery was free but I do have prime. Or in search of water or just die in the boxes, what is expected or most peopkes experience please?** A: Generally they appear to either take the food home with them or eat it and then go home to die. I just want to say though, after spending lots of money on this rat killer, we still have rats! There is a devon bank right behind our property with a farm and fields with cows and sheep. Whether or not that makes a difference is anyone's guess! Rats love to burrow deep inside these banks. We sometimes see them poking their heads out from under our shed but the minute you open the door to go and confront them, they go and then you won't see them for a while, but we know they are still out there!
